Live Transcription Guide

The Live Transcription interface is the core of the Aura Live experience. It allows you to transform spoken words into text in real-time.

Starting a Session

To begin a new transcription session:

1. Click on New Session in the dashboard or sidebar.
2. Select your Source Language (the language you will be speaking).
3. Choose an ASR Model (e.g., “Medium” for a balance of speed and accuracy).
4. Click Start Session.

Managing Audio

• Microphone Access: Ensure your browser has permission to access your microphone.
• Volume Levels: Monitor the input levels to ensure your audio is clear.
• Mute/Unmute: Use the toggle to pause sending audio without ending the session.

Viewing Results

Transcription results appear in the main window as they are processed:

• Gray Text: Interim results (the engine is still refining the transcription).
• Black/Bold Text: Final results (the segment is confirmed).

Exporting Results

Once your session is complete, you can:

• Copy to Clipboard: Quickly grab the entire transcript.
• Download as Text: Save the transcript for offline use.
